Do not sell or share my personal information
Last updated and effective: October 8, 2026 · Applies to all U.S. residents
JDM Philly respects your right to control your personal information. Pennsylvania does not yet have a comprehensive consumer privacy law, but many states do, including our neighbors New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland, as well as California. This page explains what we collect, when it could count as a “sale” or “sharing” under those laws, and how to opt out. We offer these choices to every customer, wherever you live. Opting out is free and never affects your ability to shop with us.
Section 1 – Our position
JDM Philly does not sell your personal information for money, and we do not sell or rent customer lists. We share information with service providers, such as shipping carriers and payment processors, only so they can provide services to us, and they are not allowed to use it for their own marketing.
Some website technologies, such as analytics or advertising cookies, can count as “selling” or “sharing” under some state privacy laws even when no money changes hands. You can opt out of any such activity at any time using the options on this page.
Section 2 – Who this page applies to
Residents of California, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Colorado, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have legal opt-out rights (see Section 9).
Pennsylvania has not yet adopted a comprehensive privacy law. Because we are based in Philadelphia and ship across the United States, we honor opt-out requests from every U.S. customer, including Pennsylvania residents, whatever state you live in.
Section 3 – Information we collect and how it is shared
The table below shows the categories of personal information we collect, why, who receives it, and whether that could count as a sale or sharing under privacy law.

Section 4 – How to opt out
Use whichever option is easiest for you:
- Email: send a message to Jdmphilly7@gmail.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share – [Your Full Name]”. Tell us your name, the email address you use with us, and your state.
- Phone: call (215) 613-8004 during business hours and ask to opt out.
- Global Privacy Control: turn on GPC in a supported browser or extension. We treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out for that browser, with no further action needed.
- Cookie controls: block analytics and advertising cookies in your browser, as explained in our Cookie Policy. This works per browser and device.
Section 5 – What happens after you opt out
- No identity verification required. You do not need to verify your identity to opt out. We may ask only for the information needed to find your records.
- Processed within 15 business days. We stop any sale or sharing of your personal information and tell our relevant partners about your choice.
- Written confirmation. If you gave us an email address, we confirm when your opt-out has taken effect.
- We respect your choice. We will wait at least 12 months before asking you to opt back in, and you can opt back in at any time by contacting us.
Section 7 – Sensitive personal information
The only sensitive personal information we handle is your account sign-in (email address and password) and the limited payment details described above. We use it only to provide the services you request, such as signing you in and processing payments, and never to infer characteristics about you. Because of this, we do not offer a separate “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” link, but you can contact us with any question about how it is used.
Section 8 – Your other privacy rights
- Right to know and access: ask what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we use it, and who we share it with.
- Right to delete: ask us to delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions such as tax and warranty records.
- Right to correct: ask us to fix inaccurate information. You can update most account details yourself in your account settings.
- Right to data portability: receive a copy of your information in a commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Right to non-discrimination: we will not deny service, charge different prices, or offer a lower quality of service because you exercised your rights.
We acknowledge these requests within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days. If we need more time (up to another 45 days), we will tell you in writing. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Section 9 – Residents of states with privacy laws
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia have comprehensive privacy laws. Depending on your state, you may have the right to confirm whether we process your personal data; to access, correct, delete, or get a copy of it; and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Several of these states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, Maryland, Oregon, and Texas, recognize universal opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control, which we honor for every visitor.
Appeals: if we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision within 60 days. If we deny your appeal, you may contact your state attorney general. Customers in states without a privacy law can still use every option on this page.
Section 10 – Consumers under 18
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 18. Our products are sold to adults, and our website is not directed to children.
