Section 1 – Who we are

Section 3 – Products and listings

We sell used engines, transmissions, front clips and auto parts imported from Japan, and brand-new engines. Unless a listing says otherwise, parts are used. Each listing shows the condition, the mileage when it is known, the engine code, the vehicles the part is known to fit and the warranty term. Photos show the actual unit you will receive.

Checking that a part fits your vehicle is your responsibility. Match the engine or transmission code to your vehicle’s factory specification and contact us before you order if you are unsure. We try to keep listings accurate. If we find an error after you order, we will contact you before we ship.

Section 4 – Prices and payment

• Prices are in U.S. dollars. The listed price is for the item only. Shipping and sales tax are shown at checkout before you pay.
• The price shown when you place your order is the price you pay for that order. If a pricing error affects your order, we will contact you before shipping and you can choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
• At checkout you can choose Pay in Full, Deposit (40%) or Reserve ($450), or Cash / Pay on Pickup with local pickup. The rules for each are in our Payment Policy.
• We may hold, refuse or cancel an order that fails fraud screening or identity verification, or that we cannot fulfill. If we cancel, you are refunded in full.

Section 5 – Shipping, pickup and installation

Shipping prices, delivery times, local pickup and freight delivery are explained in our Shipping Policy. Installation by our technicians is covered by the terms of our local installation service.

Section 6 – Returns, refunds and cancellations

All sales are final. Returns, exchanges and refunds are approved only in the situations described in our Return & Refund Policy, which also explains what happens if you refuse a delivery. Orders can be cancelled only before they ship, as described in our Cancellation Policy. Shipping charges are not refundable unless the refund results from our error.

Section 7 – Warranty

Used and new engines and transmissions carry the limited warranty described in our Warranty Policy and on the listing. Items listed SOLD AS IS have no warranty. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law.

Section 8 – Using the website

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state, to place an order.
• Do not use the website for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, and do not transmit viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
• Do not copy, scrape or resell content from the website without our written permission.
• If you create an account, keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• We may refuse service to anyone for abuse or fraud.

Section 9 – Content and trademarks

The content of this website belongs to JDM Philly. Brand names, model names and engine codes belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility. See our Legal Notice.

Section 10 – Liability, governing law and disputes

Our limits of liability, the governing law (Pennsylvania), the courts and the steps for resolving a dispute are in our Legal Notice and Disclaimer. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under federal or state law that cannot be waived.

Section 11 – Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and our policies. We post the updated version on this website. The terms in effect when you place an order apply to that order.
